What is one skill you think would be useful to you?

If you were given the opportunity to learn one skill free of charge, what skill do you think would be useful to you?

I think I would learn how to cook like a professional. With so many recipe sites and cooking skills how-to videos online, it is a surprise that everyone is not a master chef at this point. There are so many simple things that you can learn that can vastly improve your culinary skill set really quickly.

By learning how to cook professionally, I would not have to spend so much money by going to fancy 5-star restaurants just to eat a delicacy. I could just buy the ingredients that are needed to make the dish and cook it at home at my own comfort. This will save me a lot of money and time. You will not need to decide between cheap Chinese or pizza delivery either. 

You will also have the advantage of knowing exactly what is in your food. When we go out to eat, we order the food without knowing what is inside our food. This is why eating out leads to a higher percentage of people getting food poisoning. By learning how to cook, we can buy our own ingredients and make our own dish which will be much more healthier than going out to eat because we know what we are consuming. This will make you eat healthier without even trying.

You will be able to impress your friends and family by learning how to cook professionally. Not everyone can acquire such a skill and they could end up burning the house if they were not careful. You would be able to make them their favourite food whenever they want. During their birthdays, you could bake them a cake instead of buying a cake from the bakery. It will save us a lot of hassle.
