Your school is planning a talk for young people. You have been asked to suggest a suitable topic for the talk.
I would suggest the school to give a talk about how to prepare for your future. This is because nowadays students do not know what they want to do in the future until the very last minute. To prevent this from happening, this talk will be able to guide and motivate them into choosing what they want to do that is relevant to their aspirations. It will also help them to focus and prepare for their future earlier.
Young people can prepare for their future by talking to their parents or a counsellor. Their parents or the counsellor can guide them and give them advice on what to do. Young people should not be influenced by their friends or family which career path they want to pursue in the future. This is because it is important to remember that a happy worker will always be more satisfied than one who is stuck in a career they do not like. They should do something they are passionate about as they are far more likely to stick with something if it aligns with their passions.
They can also plan for their future by visiting career fairs and skill shows. Parents can bring their children to attend career fairs held annually. This will give young people an idea of what they would like to pursue or do in the future. This is because they will be given a chance to talk to an experienced teacher that can explain what the career path that they choose is about.
The organiser could also talk about the scholarships or schools that they are offering. Students often do not know when or how they should apply for scholarships. Through this talk, they will be able to learn what scholarships are being offered and how they should do it. They can also learn what school they should attend in the future that is suitable for the career path that they have chosen. This will enable students to not have such a hard time trying to figure out what to do.
