Few days ago, I read an article about this French athlete, Samir Ait Said that snapped his leg as he attempted to complete his vault during the team preliminaries. Now I am going to share with you what I read.
A French Gymnast, Samir Ait Said who dramatically broke his leg at the Rio Olympics had his pain further compounded when hapless medical staff accidentally dropped his stretcher as he was hurried out of the stadium.
Samir's leg snapped as he tried to complete his vault during team preliminaries on Saturday, with the sound of the injury echoing through the arena. As he crumpled to the floor, medical officals tended to him in front of a shocked crowd. After a delay of several minutes, he was eventually wheeled out and raised one arm to acknowledge the loud ovation he received from the crowd. But just minutes later the athlete was in even more excruciating pain after medical staff attempting to bundle him into a waiting ambulance dropped the lower end of the stretcher.
This incident is very horrifying and I feel sad for Said as he cannot compete in other events that he is supposed to take part in. This must have been such heartbreaking news for France as they lose a participant participating in the Rio Olympics. I do hope that he will heal as soon as possible and can get back on his feet without any permanent damage.

Pokemon GO News
On the 11th of August, a young woman, lodged a formal complaint that she has been raped by a Pokemon. She told officers that she had been sexually assaulted by a giant Pokemon in her apartment in the Russian capital city of Moscow. The married woman, whose name is unknown, had reportedly been playing Pokemon GO before she fell asleep. She claimed that she woke up to find a huge Pokemon lying on top of her body and says it was raping her.
The woman said that the Pokemon disappeared when she jumped out of bed, but says the Pokemon GO app on her phone could still detect the same virtual character's presence on her bed. She woke up to tell her husband what had happened who told the police officers that he did not believe her and told her to see a psychiatrist.
Russian news website Bloknot reports that the police did not believe her either and that the woman then went to see a psychic who was unable to help her.
Ivan Makarov, the woman's friend told reporters that she told him that there are too many Pokemons at her place and even the dog can sense them. She says that the dog barks whenever she plays Pokemon GO. In the end she accepted her husband's advice, in desperation, and had booked an appointment with a psychiatrist.
In my opinion, I feel that the woman might be a bit crazy due to playing too much Pokemon GO. Pokemon GO is an iOS and Android app that was launched on July 2016 and has gained a tremendous amount of downloads. We should not play the game excessively and play it during our free time.
